Choose your favorite character at BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

Beauty and the Beast is a classic fairy tale that tells the story of a young woman named Belle who falls in love with a cursed prince who has been transformed into a hideous beast. The story is about love, redemption and the power of acceptance. The story begins with Belle living with her father in a small village. Belle loves to read, which makes her an outsider amongst the other villagers. One day, while her father is on a journey, he stumbles upon a castle in the nearby woods and is captured by the Beast who lives inside. Belle offers to take her father's place as the Beast's prisoner, and he agrees. At first, Belle is terrified of the Beast, but as they spend time together, she begins to see his kind heart. As time goes by, Belle and the Beast fall in love. However, the Beast's curse can only be broken if he finds true love before the petals of a magical rose fall off. The Beast's selfish and greedy ex-servant, Gaston, wants to marry Belle and kill the Beast so that he can take over the castle.

1. Beast

- Initially portrayed as selfish and cruel, but has a kind heart hidden beneath his exterior
- Has a temper, which often leads him to make impulsive decisions
- Has a desire to be loved and accepted, but struggles to find it due to his appearance
- Becomes more loving and gentle as he learns to open up and let Belle into his life
- Ultimately learns that true beauty comes from within, and not from outward appearances

2. Belle

- Intelligent and independent, with a love for books and a desire for adventure
- Kind-hearted and compassionate towards others, including the Beast
- Has a strong sense of self, and is not easily swayed by what others expect of her
- Recognizes the importance of looking beyond appearances and getting to know someone for who they truly are
- Embodies the idea of not judging a book by its cover, and teaches the Beast to see the world through a new perspective.
