2. General Kirigan
General Kirigan also known as the Darkling, is the primary antagonist of Shadow and Bone. He is a powerful Grisha, with the ability to summon and control shadows. He is dark and mysterious with black hair and eyes that gleam in the dark. General Kirigan is also charming and manipulative, using his powers to bend others to his will. He seems to have a deep connection to Alina because of her unique abilities and will stop at nothing to control and use her gifts for his own gain. The Darkling is a multi-dimensional character, with complex motivations and a tragic backstory that adds depth to his menacing presence.
